Every ariesbags piece is thoughtfully handcrafted in North Carolina using repurposed or new materials. Our commitment to sustainability means each bag is truly one-of-a-kind, combining eco-friendly practices with artisanal craftsmanship.
Sourcing Sustainable Materials
We believe in giving materials a second life. Our bags are crafted from:
- Repurposed denim - Salvaged from jeans and denim scraps that would otherwise go to waste
- Quilt cotton - Colorful, durable fabrics perfect for unique patchwork designs
- Vinyl - Easy to clean and long-lasting for everyday use
- Reclaimed hardware - Zippers, straps, and embellishments sourced locally when possible
- Canvas - new and high quality canvas materials which add flair, color and sustainability to our products
- Nylon - a durable and water resistant material, perfect for daily use in harsh weather
The Handcrafting Process
Each bag is individually designed and sewn by hand in our North Carolina studio. We carefully select fabric combinations, cut and piece together materials, and reinforce every seam for durability. From seatbelt webbing straps to hand-embroidered details, every element is chosen with intention. Some bags are made from patterns, sourced by other bagmakers.

Built to Last
We don't believe in fast fashion. Our bags are constructed to withstand daily use, with reinforced stitching, quality hardware, and thoughtful design. Many of our bags are machine washable, making them practical for real life.
